XP pro supports /3GB. It also supports AWE.

Get yourself a server OS and use /3GB and /PAE then you will be able to
utilize 3GB directly and map into that sections to access large amounts of
memory. Windows has had this for a number of years, but this is not a
desktop feature. Since the world is going to AMD64 I suspect it is not
something that will ever be mainstream.

application (for some reasons). I wonder why if you can use a DOS
extender
like TNT, you probably end up with more ram to use like 4G.... also, is
2G range including virtual memory.... If not, I think I have to establisha
swap file for my own use. How come 64G virtual address space (P4), only
2G
allowed? Wondering..
