Can you describe these "failings"?
What exactly makes you "sick" of it?
DosBox is far easier to setup than Real DOS or NT's NTVDM for old DOS
games (assuming of course that the game you trying to get working don't
already work fine under NTVDM). The people complaining are usually
those who just want to click on a shortcut and play their game and they
do not bother to read the readme. IMO, You'd be far better off
contributing to DosBox than going off and creating your own.
