Thanks again for the replies. AddFontResourceEx() did the trick.
Definitely a much better way to use custom fonts in your app (as opposed to
requiring installation of the fonts to the system).

Nope.
It's different from installing fonts through control panel. Fonts are not
moved to windows\fonts directory and not added to registry.
