Just create your own renderer which does not display the frames.  You can
use the dump or sampvid samples to start with.  Alternatively, you can use
the Sample Grabber with a Null Renderer.

You should check Google Groups before posting.  This question has been
answered before.


thanks. any existing examples available? I checked the samples, really
don't know how to change it to fit my requirement. I also searched
google groups, there are some discussions, but still no example.

where I should start? any websites?
