On my development machine, I can load up GraphEdit, drag
the WMV file on top of it and right-click any of the
graph's filters to display the property page; on my test
PC, I get an error message saying "Property page could
not be displayed".
This is totally unrelated to the playback issue: simply
register proppage.dll to fix it.
Does this ring any bells for anyone? Normally I'd just
ignore such an anomaly and put it down to general
weirdness, but a customer has reported exactly the same
behaviour on his machine as on my new machine: cannot
play/navigate through this particular WMV file. Obviously
I'd like to keep the customer happy, so if anyone has any
ideas as to what's going, I'd be much obliged if you'd
share them with me.
What are the exact graph configurations on both machines,
including the filters CLSIDs, connection media types and
video renderer properties?
