Yeah, that's the problem with specs. You have to read the
whole thing, including reading between the lines, to get
the full picture. RFCs can be a lot of fun like that, too.
Later RFCs are following the same trend as ISO/ITU/ETSI
documents: boring, badly written and with the informations
scattered all over the place. Older ones, almost all through
the '90s, were a lot better.
