My main question is: is it possible to add filters to the
graph
that are not registered? No regserve32 and thus no
cocreateinstance. You just add the filter to the graph. I
am leaning towards this not being possible.
Yes, it is, the way we showed you.
I have
synatically correct code which I tried for a filesource
filter, where I set the subobject of the timeline object
HALT THERE! Timeline? That means you are using DES and not
plain DS (the subobject reference in the first post
should've rung a bell) and this is a very different
scenario. I don't know whether DES will pick up manual
modifications to the graph without some voodoo. Maybe
someone else knows.
