Video Window not repainting only in one instance

Hi...i´ve got a strange behaviour on my video window.
I have an MFC SDI project, when the user selects an option on the menu
a Dialog containning the window in which i want to show the video pops
up. The thing is, the first time i open the dialog i have the problem
about repainting the video window (i have tried an empty WM_ERASEBKGND,
but no success), but if i open another instance of the dialog or if i
close this one and select again the option on the menu to open the
Video Dialog, then the problem is gone, it repaints correctly. Every
new Video Dialog i open repaints correctly, the question is...why is
the first instance of the dialog not repainting correctly?
I´ve just copied the same code from a project i made in Visual C++
6.0, now i´m working in Visual C++ 2005.
I´m i missing something...
Any help will be welcomed.
Sorry if this is some kind of off-topic (i think it´s not but...)
.
