RE: WMV seeking problem when WMV acceleration is on

Hi James,

Some update of this issue. There have been some fixes in WMV core to allow
seeking of DRM content using the WM ASF Reader (KB841072). This fix was
included in XP SP2. When this fix was completed seeking worked correctly
using DRM content in DirectShow when connected to the VMR7.

FIX: An extra PlayCount right is decremented if you seek in a DirectShow
program that contains DRM-protected content

Also, based on my experience, many DRM related issues can be resloved by
the below fix. You may apply it to test again.

If these fixes do not help, we do require a DRM video from you to get a
solid repro of problem before we can take a lot more investigation.
