The filter you connect to has to support those. AFAIK only the video
renderers support them.

I will implement this filter and make it available for the community
My only issue in this is dealing with the YUY2 foramt and equivelant.

I implemented filters before and for each of these filter I avoided
accepting the YUY2 format since dealing with it is not clear to me.
Do you have any resource to understand the YUY2 format well?
