Is there any way of forcing a grabber to accept specific resolutions ?You can write a transform filter which only accepts one resolution and that

Can anyone point me at open source for reading DVDs without DirectShow ?
After a long search all's I can find is source code for hacking e.g. regions,
protection, etc, none of which are applicable.
TTFN,

www.doom9.org has lots of links and code relating to DVDs. You may also
find something useful on cdfreaks
mpucoder has a detailed description of the IFO formats and the book by
Taylor (DVD Demystified) is a sueful introduction.
You are most likely to find open source DVD playback for linux, though I
have not investigated it recently.
I'm really not clear why you are using DVD interfaces in this application.
Is your security footage on DVD? It's just that this seems more than a
little odd to me!
