Thank you The March Hare. I would like to compile and study other examples as well. Shouldn't be a method published to transform the examples to be compilable by VS.NET 2003 for beginners? Is not the examples are for beginners? Someone at MS try to be brilliant? Thanks again.

How to compile AMCAP? I would like to compile AMCAP (Platform SDK\Samples) using Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003. What is a sensible way to do the above? (What should I do with the makefile of the AMCAP example?)
I recommend you download an older SDK (example: Summer 2004 Update) and pull the Visual Studio project files from it. It will be much easier to use. Apparently one of the limitations of the PSDK is that there is a policy to only include makefiles :(
