Sorry, I didn't see your former anwser => no, I don't use smart
pointers.

I don't understand what you're suggesting... that I should create a
subClass (?) implementing IUnknown, and overriding the IUnknown's
values ? And then, that I should pass an instance of this subclass
instead of my DOM object ? Is this it ?
But "subclass" : 'sub' from which class ? my source filter's output pin
class ? ...

I may seem dumb but then, I'm quite lost.


Anyway, I've been talking nonsense with some values in my 2 former
messages... bewteen hex and decimal values, pointers that can't be
actual adresses, ... I'm checking all of this thoroughly (and it's
driving me mad !! :o) )
