Inserting the LTC (Longitudinal Time Code) in a video stream

I am capturing video from an analog source that is converted to DV using an
analog to DV converter (the Canopus ADVC-50), and thus comes in through an
IEEE1394 interface. I get the time code information separately, from an LTC
signal, using a converter that lets me read the information on a serial port.

My video capture graph works fine and converts the DV material to wmv
format, and I can access the time code Ok. My problem is that I need to
insert the time codes that I read into the wmv stream. Has anybody done this?
Can I use IMediaSample:SetTime to do this?

All comments appreciated.
