Is there a list of the DirectX settings that have insane default values
somewhere?
The default values are not "insane".
When I say insane I mean they might as well have called it "wings stay on"
vs "wings fall off" and defaulted it to "wings fall off" citing the
justification that it makes the plane go faster.
Nonsense. I understand you're upset because the default state wasn't
what you wanted, but blaming the API isn't going to help.
