Deployment Problems

Have a very simple JPG viewer built with c# and managed directx, the
Direct3D lib. Works fine on my development machine, but I always get
this application error on any of the client machines I try installing
it on:

"Application has generated an exception that cannot be handled..."
I've posted a screen cap here: http://www.swiftwx.com/vwimg.jpg

The app was compiled using the latest October 2005 SDK, and all the
test machines have .NET 1.1 and the 9.0c End User Runtime installed.

Any ideas???
