ok, that explains the /InstalledManagedDX ... they just need to update the
docs.
i did try to run DXSetup.exe stand alone though, and it would try to
install, but no files were copied at all.
the test machine has .NET 1.1, and 2.0 Beta on it.
at least the SDK was able to install everything successfully.
