The M.I.T license as I read it, makes my code M.I.T-licensed...

I'm not a license expert, but I can tell you that there are hundreds
of companies that have utilized MIT license based source code in their
commercial products. Its what allowed all kinds of workstation
vendors to take the X Window System and customize it for their
workstaions without publishing the source to their customizations.
