Thank you for your help. My problem is solved now. But it wasn't a
problem with the texture stage states as you guessed. In fact I removed
those statements which set the stage states.
As I said before, the texture for the road worked but not the texture
for the car. But I then made the texture for the car a bit larger (I
increased the size of the bitmap). Then it worked. I really don't
understand why. Is there any size restriction to the texture we paint
(min and max)?
Or if you think the reason could be something else, please explain.
