USB Touch Screen Driver

I have to write a touch screen driver for Windows XP.

From whatever information I got I conclude that I have to write mini
class driver which sits below the Mouclasss.sys since there is no
Touch Screen Class Driver in XP as in Windows CE. Is this assumption
right..??
Also to start with where can I get some sample code to begin with
writing a mini class driver for a mouse class driver?
Any related information will be highly appreciated.
