cannot read CD drive but can write

Hello,
This is not about device drivers but thought you folks
might help best.

I have windows XP.
I have strange problem - I just burnt a CD. I tried reading the
contents, its empty.
I took the CD to a different machine and the contents are written
perfectly and I could read.

However on my machine, can't read though it could write.

I have DVD/CD read write drive.
I used a Moserbaer Recordable CD.

Can one help fix this issue?
