Get PID/VID from symbolic name?

Hello,

I would like to retrieve the PID and VID of a mass storage device from
its symbolic name.
Symbolic name comes from the IoRegisterPlugPlayNotification API
indicating the GUID of a disk interface.
I guess that there is som eway to find this, but I did not find one.
