Why do you think so? It is quite revealing that, in Vista, virtually the
entire audio subsystem has been moved into user mode.
I would be happy to contact Microsoft, but I am at a loss as to whom I
contact? Do either of you know who is the point contact for these things??
You might sign on to the wdmaudiodev mailing list. Many of the engineers
from Microsoft's audio team hang out there, and they have been quite
responsive to Vista audio issues.
