I'm not convinced neither. I dont know anyhting about drivers nor
directshow. I will verify if mimundo can work as Media Center does. Do
you know a good tutorial about Directshow for beginners?

Well, I am generating a transport stream and I'd like to be able to
watch it with a player(http://www.mimundotv.de/index.php?en) that only
have bda input, but what I am generating is udp. I'd like to be able to
use this player because is the only one I have found with the mhp
stack. I dont have any experience with drivers. Is there any way to
simulate a bda interface?
I'm still not convinced you need to make this a BDA kernel driver, but I
admit I don't know the Mimundo design. It's likely that they find their
capture driver the same way Media Center does, which is by enumerating the
capture filters, whether they are kernel or user-mode.
