I do. If I don't understand something then I don't do it.
case syou think you have seen all the edge conditions and you have not. If
this was user code, I would say go for it, but when a driver writer does
something wrong the common case is a crash, and there are worse cases.
Personally, I find a risk like that unacceptable, and have given input on
hiring and personel reviews that reflects that philosophy, with the result
being the individual and the firm I am consulting for do not have a long
term relationship.
