Re: KeInitializeCrashDumpHeader on XP64.

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

Calvin,

Problem is I don't have any XP64 machines set up right now or I'd just use
Windbg. There may be a versioning issue that I would like to clear up as
well (assuming that KeInitializeCrashDumpHeader is available on any version
of XP). This function was introduced with W2k3 SP1. Maybe that means that
it was introduced into XP64 2005 edition but not previous versions. I will
need to know how to distinguish versions where this function is supported
from versions where it is not (e.g .SP level, build number, ???).

Regards,

Rossettoecioccolato.

Is KeInitializeCrashDumpHeader available on XP64? The documentation
(what little there is) is silent on this point.

George.
