USBSTOR.SYS
Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry
A Z40 USB device ( 4.0 G ) got unaccessible after the W2K came up with the
error message "Write delay failed". This was because I tried to copy a file
that is 136 M in size.
May be the real issue arose when I unplugged the USB device instead of
correctly notifying W2K of my intention to unplug it.
Has any one an idea why the driver USBSTOR.SYS does not access the device in
RAW mode ? Is there a way to access the device at all from now on ?
Does any have a driver that would allow me to access the device ?
USBSTOR.SYS returns RC=10 ( device does not start ). No tool I have can
access the device.
Anyone any idea ??
Thanks,
Frank
PS: I run W2K US version, SP 4
.
