thanks everyone for replying.
But i don't think the problem is in BIOS since the pC boots up well
into Windows where you see the Windows splash screen and the scrolling
bar.
But the scrolling goes as far as half of the screen and stops. so it's
not the bios as windows has already started to boot.
And the device does not lock up at all; it's just the PC that locks up.
The device responds properly when we are operating with PC powered on.
But when the PC boots there could be some short voltage drop on the USB
power as Alexander said.
Problem is i don;t have an analyzer n see whats happening on the BUS.
But i might borrow from someone and try to see.
