-- I do not see such a behavior, at least on Windows XP SP1. When my driver sets PNP_DEVICE_NOT_DISABLEABLE bit, "disable" item disappears from the Action Menu (in the Device Manager window). When driver resets this bit, the "disable" item reappears in the Action menu and I can normally stop/remove my driver. Regards, Gennady Mayko.
