Thank you all for your comments.
I should say that the reason I am asking this question relates to a problem
I've been struggling with for a while. I'm trying to get connection /
disconnect notifications to my user mode code, running in a dll. Recently I
tried creating a Window to receive PnP notifications, and registered for
callbacks. So far, I haven't been able to make that work, but it now looks
like the correct way to go.
Thanks,
Dennis
