Ok , my mistake.
I need machine info, 1394 host controller info and OS info to try and
narrow down the problem. I need the machine info since some machines,
specifically certain laptops, have had BIO's or PCI issues. So if you
could give me make, model, BIO's version and 1394 hc make/model that would
help. Also, OS info, ie, are you on XP RTM, XPSP1, XPSP2.
Also on the target, do you have multiple 1394 hc's in the machine? If so
try putting the 1394 hc you are using for debugging in the lowest PCI slot.
To figure out the lowest PCI slot check the Device Manager Properties page
for each 1394 hc and you will see the PCI slot number in the General page
under Location field.
This has helped make things work.
Thanks,
-Don
