The handbook is really around 80% obsolete, but sorry, X11, NFS and swapping
scheme are still such. To name a few.
> Want to compare CMD with bash? Oh, come on.
bash would only benefit if it would do no wildcard expansion, offloading this
to a C runtime call in the app itself. More flexibility for the app writer.
Lesser idiocies when the expansion result is treated as a flag.

In what UNIX? In FreeBSD?

Just choose any partition formatted with Windows-supported FS, and all will be
fine. No such partition? Create one. No space to create? Sorry, you're out of
disk space, no OS can handle this.
> Huh? You mention RedHat and say the bear no responsibility over the kernel?
Surely no. The kernel is not RedHat's. It is Linus's.
Linus can be personally connected with RedHat, but sorry, I do not trust such
personal connections in the industry.

Is it not open source? Can I take the source from the web, more so - from
maintainer site! - and build it? No? OK, RedHat is no more open source, and
thus starting to combine worst sides of both software models.
