In short these kinds of devices DON'T fit into the WHQL scheme.
Last time I went down this bunny trail for a company that produced a
'unique' device it was a dead end. The deal breaker for us was the
requirement that they get some sample hardware to test the driver. I ask in
an e-mail where the semi-truck with $250,000.00 dollar machine should go and
who'd sign for it and be respnosible, and how many days the technican who
ran it would have to be there.
