I second David's comments, I refuse to use SoftIce because:
1. I work with Beta's it doesn't support.
2. It costs significantly more that a good test systemm and if you do
filesystems you sure don't want to devevelop and debug on the same system.
3. Twice at customers who have used SoftIce, I now encountered bugs
that only occur when SoftIce was present. In both cases after more that a
man-week of effort SoftIce was found to be screwing up.
