Re: internal ole automation error

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

In a perfectly working application, i have a situation on one computer
(windows xp - sp2).

At one location where i create a datatable based on a query:
SELECT * from table where Field Like 'a%'
fails. The error is "Internal ole automation error"

Out of 15 computers and different OS i tried, this one machine is the only
one where i get this error.

Not that it is likely that I know the answer, but couldn't you at least
tell what database you are using? Oracle? Access? SQL Server? And more
exactly how is your call packaged? ADO? OleDb Client? OleDb Consumer
Templates?
