For anyone reading, please see the discussion in the MSDN forum:
http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=741915&SiteID=1 . The
conclusion was that something on Evan's machine was not installed correctly.

I keep getting the error "Could not fetch a row from OLE DB provider
'VFPOLEDB' when I do a query on a FoxPro Linked Server through SQL 2000.
If
the query returns 0 rows I don't get an error I just get the structure of
the
table. But if the query returns rows I get the error. I can replicate this
on
a test machine but my development machine works fine.
I have checked the SVRNETCN and the CLICONFG apps in SQL Server and they
seem to be set the same on both machines. I am using NamedPipes on the
server.
Would anyone know what I don't have working correctly?
