Other OLE DB providers? You mean third-party OLE DB providers designed to
work with FoxPro? I don't know of any.

Over time new data features have been added to FoxPro tables. The oldest
FoxPro tables (Fox2x) are compatible with Jet (and ODBC and OLE DB), later
tables (VFP3 - 6) are compatible with ODBC (and OLE DB) and tables using
data features created in VFP7 and beyond are only OLE DB compatible.
However, newer tables that don't use any of the new data features are still
compatible with ODBC. I don't know a lot about 64-bit machines,
particularly I don't know if you can use a "regular" ODBC driver. If that is
the case, and your tables don't have any of the new data features, you might
be able to use OLE DB for ODBC.

I have installed the 32 bit version of foxpro oledb (vfpoledb.dll) on
SQL
2005 (64 bit) and it doesn't appear in the list of available providers
when I
try to create a linked server.

I see that it installed to the 32 bit "side" of the program files.

What do I need to do to get it installed properly on my SQL 2005?
