MDAC 2.8 win 2003 x64 Ole Db Problem

We have installed the following:
WIN Server 2003 Enterprise x64 Edition
SQL Server 2005 CTP
The MS OLE DB Provider for Oracle (MSDAORA.dll) doesn't show up in a list of
OLE DB providers available for linked servers in SQL 2005.
Also, it doesn't show up in a list of providers when trying to test using a
..udl file.
I ran Component Checker 2.0 for MDAC 2.8 for SP2 and it doesn't show any
errors and it does show MSDAORA.dll in the files section,
but can't see any entry in the Com section (not sure if there should be) or
the registry section there isn't a key for MSDAORA.dll.
I ran regsvr32.exe to unregister then register MSDAORA.dll and it reported
successful on each, but still no registry entries
I would start checking my Oracle Client installation (Oracle Client 10g) but
it doesn't appear to be connectivity, its just that the ole db provider
doesn't show up on the list to even test it.
Please advise any ideas.
tks
