How can I run select @@identity in an ASP class with MS Access

I have a project that uses a MS Access database in a Classic ASP environment
and I cannot get the select @@Identity to work. I am trying to submit a
record and pull the auto increment value at the same time.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
