I have an Access 2002 sp3 database with a link to an Oracle table using ODBC.
When I try to open the table to view the data I get the error:
"ODBC--call failed. [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Function sequence
error (#0)".
I believe I have isolated this to a timestamp field in the Oracle table. I
can view all the other field's data when I run a query against the table, but
not the timestamp. I have heard that Access is trying to convert this
timestamp to a date field and this is what causes the errror. Is there any
way around this as this field is crucial to determining which records I
select from the table?
