I want to link a table to my Access 2003 database. I select ODBC Databases() from the file of type dropdown. As soon as I do that the process of linking to a table stops. Instead of opening up the window to select the ODBC Data Source I get returned to where I started. It's like the process says "Oh, he selected ODBC. I don't know what ODBC is so I'll just quit and die." There's no error message. No nothing.
Can anyone think of a reason why the Select Data Source window would not be opened?
If I do the same thing in Access97 the Select Datasource window opens fine.
I found the solution. It was NAV2006.
