Maximum statement length?

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

BOL indicated it was 19,999 for SQL Server 2000. Is this max length also
supported by ODBC?

Any ideas for Oracle 9i or DB2 8.x would also be appreciated.

Thanks,
