Oracle ODBC - restricting list of user tables

Hi
I am using "Oracle ODBC driver" in win2K environment. I am trying to
retrieve data into MS Excel vis MS query. The problem that i have now
is that i feel there are too many user table and view names in Oracle.
When i key in my user id / pwd into the MS query login pop up screen,
it will take a long time for the application to response. It will give
the message "Out of memory" eventually , which is certainly not a
hardware problem as my RAM is 2G.
as such, may i know is there anyway for me to config somewhere to let
MS query list out those views/tables under my user name + system tables
only. I am not interested to see the views/tables of other users.
for some advice please
Thank you
Boon Yiang
