Hi,
I've had this problem before, and solved some of the issues by using "Save As HTML".
You can then edit the ODBC connection string including the IP address in either Notepad or the inbuilt VB editor (Alt-F11 in Excel).
If I recall, there were still some sticky issues on some spreadsheets, but you may not experience those problems.
Once edited, you can "Save As... XLS Workbook" again.
