Access and SQL ODBC problem

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

We have a web based application with SQL 2000 as a data backbone
I have 1 user who uses Access 2002 using ODBC to run custom reports
and to fix some minor data entry errors caused by other users.

I have runned into a strange connectivity problem and that is.
Sometimes I open the access database and it will only let me read
the tables in SQL it will not let me update any information or add
a new record (example adding a new customer) I remove the table
and relink it and the problem goes away, it will work fine for days even
weeks then suddenly have the same issue again, I remove and relink
and the problem goes away.

What can cause this, or is this normal behavior.

Thanks
Xavier
