I have a Win2000 webserver accessing a SQL2000 server. I want to move the
SQL server from a Win2000 to a Win2003 server but when I do this I get
anonymous access problems.
The MDAC on the webserver is ver 2.5 (the one that comes with Win2000)
The MDAC that comes with SQL2000 is ver 2.6
The MDAC that comes with Win2003 is ver 2.8
all services packs etc are latest and greatest
I want to update the 2.5 version. Should I update to 2.6 or to 2.8? Are
there compatibility issues with some of the versions? Is there a possibility
that the website won't work properly with one of these versions?
