RE: ODBC driver

I'm sad to say I also get the same message "the setup routines for the SQL
Server ODBC driver could not be found. Please reinstall the driver.". This
happens not only for SQL, but all of the other useful drivers that used to
exist in the list. Either a piece of rogue software or a Windows update must
have squashed them. I'm using XP PRO SP2.
The only drivers in my ODBC drivers tab are CodeBase Driver (no version) and
Visual FoxPro 6.01.8629.01. All other drivers are gone and hence, my
pre-existing system DSN's for Oracle and SQL laugh indignantly when I try to
configure them. I figure the drivers are still there, just hiding.
The truly scary thing is that the system connections using the 'shadow'
drivers actually still work.
Any tips in researching/troubleshooting/ or resolving this are greatly
appreciated. I'm not looking forward to rebuilding my laptop. Its been issue
free for a year now, as far as OS is concerned...until now ugh.
