XP manifest and SQLManageDataSources

My application is using an XP manifest. When I try to call SQLManageDataSources multiple copies of the ODBC administrator dialog appear and I can't cancel or close it. After removing the manifest file my application works ok again. Copying the manifest file to any other application which is calling the ODBC administrator dialog makes the application also crash!!!
