Windows Server 2003 comes with MDAC 2.8. There wont be an MDAC 2.8 setup
for 64-bit, because it will always be included in the operating system.
I'll ask if we built a 64-bit ODBC Test and if it is included in the SDK or
not.

I recompiled my C++ program using 64bit mode with Visual .Net. It ran fine with most of the functions, except ODBC access. ODBC Driver Manager returned an error saying it could not find the ODBC DSN as SQLDriverConnectW specified. But when I opened the DSN from ODBC Administrator, I was able to see the list of all the DSNs and tested the connection. So I attempted to use ODBC Test to troubleshoot this connection problem. However, the ODBC Test that I have is a 32bit application from Windows 2000 Server Platform SDK CD. > I looked through Microsoft site and found MDAC 2.8 SDK. Does MDAC 2.8 SDK contain the 64 bit version of ODBC Test tool? another question is, where is the MDAC 2.8 for IA64 platform? MDAC 2.8 SDK listed MDAC 2.8 as a system requirement, but the link to MDAC 2.8 took me to a x86-only MDAC 2.8 download site. > If you have any hints or tips for me to test ODBC on IA64 platofrm, I will really appreciate that!! > > Thank you! > Regards, Nancy
