Any suggestions as to which books(currently half way through Access 2003
Bible) I should be reading if I want to learn Access. Being asked to
develop a method to download data from Access to Excel via VBA, have no
clue
how I should approach this issue yet. Any suggestion is greatly
appreciated.

First off you need to request help in the best newsgroup. This one is for
users of 'classic' VB (VB6 or lower) and 'classic' ADO.

VBA while a similar language to VB is another platform.

To be more specific anyone will need to know if you are planning to write
this code in Access (and update an Excel work***), or if you intend to
write this in Excel (and update from a Mdb file), or using VBA from another
environment, such as Windows Host?

What version of Excel and Access might help as well.

Here one possiblity:
"Import data from Access to Excel (DAO) using VBA in Microsoft Excel"
